If you ask me, I’m incredibly excited for this anime! Although it will contain a small four episodes I’m sure it will be still worthwhile.
The impression is given on the official site: http://www.ova-tos.com that only the Sylvarant team (Lloyd, Colette, Genis, Raine, and Kratos) will be in the anime.  However, let me clear up that that is not the case (The cast):

Katsuyuki Konishi as Lloyd Irving

Nana Mizuki as Collet Brunel (Colette Brunel)

Ai Orikasa as Genius Sage (Genis Sage)

Akemi Okamura as Shinha Fujibayashi (Sheena Fujibayashi)

Akio Ohtsuka as Regal Bryant

Fumihiko Tachiki as Kratos Aurion

Houko Kuwashima as Presea Combatir

Masaya Onosaka as Zelos Wilder

Yumi Touma as Refill Sage (Raine Sage)
Luckily, these voice actors are the same in the Japanese version of Tales of Symphonia, but sadly we will have to wait and see what voice actors will be selected to dub the English version (Assuming that it will actually be imported to other parts of the world)

The story is the exact same thing as the game (Although I would prefer if it would be an epilogue like Tales of Phantasia, but of course that would be hard to achieve considering the fact that there are so many different possible ending to this wonderful RPG). But still, isn’t it exciting to see all the action without having to push any buttons? XD

The following are the release dates (MM/DD/YY):
DVD Box #1: 6/8/07
DVD Box #2: 8/6/07
DVD Box #3 Fall
DVD Box #4: Winter

The cost is 5,600 yen for the normal box set, and for the collector’s edition (Which includes some other artwork, etc.) costs 7,980 yen.

I’m pretty sure you will be able to order it internationally, but most will probably wait for a subbed version on the video sharing site, Youtube.com.

  3. Well, I had a chance to look at it, and had to drop it. Too gamish for an anime.
